TAL-U-NO-LX: the best Juno 60 sound comes to zynthian

We are proud of announcing the arrival of TAL-U-NO-LX to zynthian. This commercial plugin, from the swiss company TAL software, is one of the best Juno 60 emulators in the world. It faithfully recreates the iconic sound of the legendary analog synthesizer. Each oscillator, filter, and envelope has been painstakingly modeled to capture the essence of the original hardware, delivering an unparalleled level of authenticity.

Zynthian and TAL teams have worked together to integrate this fantastic plugin in zynthian and bring the best Juno 60 experience. The plugin is fully integrated in the zynthian UI, with all parameters grouped and scaled adequately, including ADSR plots and following same naming and order than the native plugin’s GUI. Of course, the native GUI is also available from the zynthian’s remote interface (VNC) and it works perfectly, with parameters synced both ways.

TAL software has allowed us to include a limited demo version of TAL-U-NO-LX in the official zynthianOS image. This demo version allows to have a taste but it’s not suitable for production use. If you want to unleash the full power of this fantastic plugin, you need to buy a license at TAL’s website.

An extensive collection of over 300 presets is included with the plugin, and many more are available for downloading or buying.

TAL Software

TAL (Togu Audio Line) Software GmbH is a small company founded around the year 2000 and located in switzerland. They create high quality instruments and effects with a user friendly interface for reasonable pricing. Vintage synth emulations are known to be very accurate and authentic. TAL software is in use by popular producers, musicians and mentioned in different interviews.

As you probably know, zynthian have loved TAL software from long time ago. ZynthianOS official images include some free plugins from TAL, like:

  • TAL Noize Maker (polyphonic VAS)
  • TAL Dub-3 (delay)
  • TAL Filter
  • TAL Reverb
  • TAL Vocoder

So, if you are a zynthian owner, you probably have enjoyed some of them. Noize Maker is, indeed, one of the more popular synth engines in zynthian and it’s used by some of the official demo snapshots.
